Terrell Tyra, St. Michael's parish nurse, assists the elderly with vital information regarding healthcare options and local assisted living or nursing care facility arrangements available to them.  She also keeps a well-stocked supply of disability aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, bathroom chairs, canes and crutches, etc.  Terrell also coordinates the annual flu shots which are administered at the St. Michael's parish hall.  These flu vaccinations are available to everyone, and the cost is usually about $20.
