St. Michael’s Conference West Coast 2010
All the spiritual transformation of the St. Michael’s Conference packed into one swift punch
Why? The St. Michael’s Conference in August is an incredible spiritual experience. However, it also requires an incredible commitment at an incredible expense. minimikes! is an opportunity to experience all the transformational benefits of the August Conference right here in Carlsbad. It’s a reunion, a retreat, and a spiritual recharge all rolled up into one epic, incense-filled, 24-hour event.
What? The mission of minimikes! is no different than that of the St. Michael’s Conference. It is a group of young people and leaders who come together to form a community. Through worship, discussion, and recreation, the community seeks both a clearer vision of God in Christ, and strength and power to fight evil and serve God.
Who? Anyone in sixth grade up to age 19 is eligible to participate in minimikes! (It doesn’t matter if you’ve been to the August Conference, you and your friends are invited to minimikes!).
Where? St. Michael’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Carlsbad, Ca.
When? 5 pm Friday, January 22 through 2 pm Saturday, January 23. Please arrive at 5 pm or shortly thereafter on Friday for registration; minimikes! will begin promptly at 6 pm.
How? Easy! Just fill out this Online Registration, and print and fill out this Medical Release Form. The cost for minimikes! is a slender $20.
Deadline for registration is Sunday, January 10, including the medical release form and the $20 registration payment.
- Make checks payable to “St. Michael’s by-the-Sea” (write “minimikes!” on the memo line).
- Mail payment and medical release form to St. Michael’s at P. O. Box 127, Carlsbad, CA 92009, or bring to church on Sundays or to the church office during the week.
