Brotherhood of St. Andrew
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is an international ministry dedicated to the spiritual needs of men and youth, enriching their lives as Christians by following the example of St. Andrew the Apostle who brought his brother Simon (Peter) to meet Jesus.
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is focused around three disciplines: prayer, study and service. We help men and youth in our parishWe pray together, study the Bible each week, and serve our parish by preparing the All-Parish monthly breakfast, assisting at the St. Michael’s Bazaar, and helping seniors with special needs.
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew meets at St. Michael’s by-the-Sea as follows:
- SERVICE: First Saturday, 8 am at St. Michael’s
- STUDY & PRAYER: 4th Wednesday, 6:30 pm, St. Michael’s library
In addition, the Brotherhood joins with St. Michael’s chapter of the Daughters of the King to sponsor St. Michael’s participation in the semi-annual Carlsbad Village Street Faire, which takes place the first Sunday in May and November each year.
