Have you ever heard this saying, “You can please some of the people all the time and all the people some of the time, but you can’t please all the people all the time”? Well, that’s the way it is with hymns. Just about everybody has a favorite, special or significant hymn that they want to hear sometime during the year. There are so many great ones that, even in a three-year liturgical cycle, we can’t play them all.
Once again, this summer we will try to please all the people all the time by taking your requests to have “your” hymn sung. Check back in June to find out how to submit your request for this summer’s Hymns in the Sun!
