Marti Harvey, our Parish Accountant, began her part-time employment on September 15, 2006. Prior to that, Marti was an active CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and worked in commercial and investment real estate for over 30 years as a real estate broker. She still maintains her broker license. Her educational background is in business and accounting.
After taking a break to care for her parents in Oregon for eight years, Marti returned to the Southern California market, became a stockbroker and Registered Investment Advisor, and worked for AIG for several years, working mostly with seniors. She didn’t enjoy the business. The real estate market had changed and she decided to go back into accounting. That’s when she found St. Michael’s.
