Parish Nurse
The St. Michael’s parish nurse assists the elderly with vital information regarding healthcare options and local assisted living or nursing care facility arrangements available to them. The parish nurse also keeps a well-stocked supply of disability aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, bathroom chairs, canes and crutches, etc. The parish nurse also coordinates the annual flu shots which are administered at the St. Michael’s parish hall. These flu vaccinations are available to everyone, and the cost is usually about $20.
